Global-DVC Founder Jan van
der Meer with Canon XM2 (GL2) video camera visiting King Kauluma Immanuel Eliphas during
opening Epacha Lodge in Namibia April 2003. This traditional King of Ondangwa is
Chief (Omhamba) of 600.000 Ovambo, the biggest tribe in Namibia, 50% of
the total population. He was very interested in our digital photo and video

King Kauluma, the traditional King of Ondangwa en King van alle Ovambo's.
The King's Palace staat in Onamunguno. Ovambo bevolking in Namibia telt ongeveer 600.000, de grootste
etnische groepering van Namibië. Hij speelde voor ons ook nog op de piano
(achterin de Epacha bar) zijn favoriete liedje: "Altijd is Kort Jakje
ziek" !. De foto's die Jan van hem op het balkon maakte, hangen nu in
de speciaal naar hem genoemde King Kauluma suite. Een speciale Namibia DVD
is ook te bestellen en vanaf sept. 2003 staat er maandelijks een reisverslag en
tips in "Video Uit en Thuis"
