Total Table Shot of just a small Violet Flower
with even smaller seeds in leaves.
Imagine they are as big or even smaller as the
eyes of a fly or Prayer Mantis! Size 1 mm !
We did measure the distance from frontlens
TRV30 to this subject in inches and centimeters

This is a typical MACRO SHOT from the TRV30 in Memory Stick mode. So camera is very close to object like 1 inch or 2 cm.
So we actually use here complete 1,55 MEGA pixels CCD!

TRV30-Century4-9inch-20cm.jpg

This is the Century Achromatic Diopter +4
the distance from the front lens till the seeds
is 9 inch or roughly 20 cm

TRV30-Century7-6inch-16cm.jpg

This is the Century Achromatic Diopter +7
the distance from the front lens till the seeds
is 6 inch or roughly 16 cm

TRV30-Century11-5inch-13cm.jpg

This is the Century Achromatic Diopter +4 and
on it +7 (fits nicely) the distance from the front
lens till the seeds is 5 inch or roughly 13 cm

TRV30-Raynox6-7inch-18cm.jpg

This is the 6X Micro Lens from the Raynox
Micro Explorer Lens Set.
It fits directly in TRV30 37mm ring.

TRV30-Raynox12-3.5inch-9cm.jpg

This is the doubler so 12X distance from
front lens to object is 3.5 inch or 9 cm.

TRV30-Raynox24-2inch-5cm.jpg

This is the absolute maximum 24X !
Very difficult to obtain some sharpness depth
and controle is nearly impossible and takes a lot
of practice. Every tiny move with camera forward
or backwards changes sharpness point on this tiny object.

This Memorystick Shot was with 6X Raynox on TRV30 ,
Dragon Fly nosy on Human nose.

CONCLUSION: The Century is very expensive but worth every cent.
A big must for all VX2000 PD150 and Canon GL1 (MX1) owners
who want to dive in a new fantastic world and use full lens opening quality.
The Raynox is not so bad, in fact if using 37mm lenses its ideal
and don't take up much videobag space.
When using them for VX2000 only center is used resulting in less edge sharpness.
But middle is OK.
